Product Manager

Own a product area of an autonomous offensive security platform, end to end.

Remote (LATAM)Full-timeReports to: Head of Product

Why this role matters now

SpartanX is building the autonomous offensive security platform: hundreds of AI agents that attack a customer's web, API, network, cloud, identity and AI surfaces the way a real adversary would, continuously and at scale. We are a product company, not a services firm, and the product is the business.

The platform is expanding from autonomous testing into validation, triage, threat modeling and remediation, and engineering is set to double. The strategy and the major definitions are set. What we need now is someone who sits with the engineers every day and makes sure what we build is the right thing, specified well, shipped on time and adopted by customers.

You will be the first PM at SpartanX. How you work will set the bar for every product hire after you.

Your mission

Own one or more product areas end to end: discovery, specs, delivery with engineering and launch. Be the person engineers go to when they need to know what to build and why, and the person customers and Sales trust to turn their feedback into product.

You will be measured on outcomes: what ships, when it ships, and whether customers use it. Not on documents, ceremonies or process for its own sake.

What you will own

Discovery

  • • Talk to customers and prospects regularly: CISOs, red team leads and security engineers. Understand their workflows, not just their feature requests.
  • • Work with Security Research to understand new attack techniques and turn them into product capabilities.
  • • Validate problems and solutions before engineering commits to building them.

Specs and definitions

  • • Write clear product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for your product areas.
  • • Break large initiatives into increments that ship value early.
  • • Work with Design on flows and with Engineering on technical approach, so specs are buildable as written.

Delivery with Engineering

  • • Be embedded with the engineering team: join planning, refinement and reviews, and be available to answer questions the same day.
  • • Own the backlog for your areas and make prioritization trade-offs explicit.
  • • Accept completed work against acceptance criteria, and flag scope or timeline risks early.

Launch and adoption

  • • Prepare release notes, product documentation and enablement material for Sales and the Field CTO.
  • • Define success metrics for what you ship, then track adoption, usage, finding quality and time to value.
  • • Close the loop: bring what you learn after launch back into the roadmap.

Who you are

What you bring

  • • 3 to 6 years in product management for B2B SaaS, ideally for technical products such as security, infrastructure or developer tools.
  • • Specs and acceptance criteria you wrote yourself, and features you took from idea to launch with results you can show.
  • • Technical depth to reason with engineers about APIs, cloud infrastructure, data models and AI system behavior. An engineering background is a plus.
  • • Experience working embedded with an engineering team in an agile environment.
  • • Clear, concise writing in English. In a distributed team, written specs and decisions are how we stay aligned.
  • • Comfort with ambiguity, speed and the trade-offs of an early-stage company.

What will set you apart

  • • Cybersecurity domain knowledge, especially offensive security: penetration testing, red teaming, vulnerability management, attack surface management or exposure validation.
  • • Experience building products on LLMs or AI agents.
  • • Experience with customers in the US enterprise market.
  • • Prior startup experience as an early or first PM.
  • • Security certifications or hands-on security work (OSCP, CTFs, AppSec, SOC experience).

Read this before you apply

This role is not for everyone, and we would rather say so up front.

  • • It is hands-on. You will write the specs, run the refinement sessions and accept the work yourself. There is no product ops team.
  • • There is no playbook yet. You will help build the processes, templates and rituals the product team will scale on.
  • • The bar is high. You will work alongside founders who have built and sold a security company before, and a research team that breaks into systems for a living. Credibility is earned through substance.
  • • The pace is fast. AI is reshaping offensive security month by month, and our roadmap moves with it.

Why take it anyway. You will be the first PM at a company defining a new category, with real ownership of a product area, direct exposure to customers and founders, and the equity to share in the outcome.
